Get Your Hands Back! exists to promote babywearing in the UK by providing relevant, useful and independent information. We like being transparent so that you’re sure you can rely on our articles – so we’d like to be clear about a few things:

The site does accept payment for advertising. These adverts appear in the right hand column of the website, or in clearly marked boxes at the bottom of the content section.

The site does occasionally use affiliate links (if you purchase something via an affiliate link, we would receive a small percentage of the sale). The overwhelming majority of links on this site are not affiliate links.

The site does not accept payment in return for editorial coverage. The site does not provide increased or biased editorial coverage for brands or vendors that advertise with us, or for brands that provide affiliate links.

The site does receive products free of charge for review. Wherever possible these are returned to the vendor after the review period. If the vendor does not wish to receive their products back then they will be donated to a suitable organisation (For example, slings are often passed onto sling meets, or sling libraries). Review samples are never retained by the site owners or the product reviewers.

We write as honestly as possible about any products that we feature, or review.

You should be aware that this site is run by Claire Willis, who also operates a baby sling business (www.snugbaby.co.uk). SnugBaby receives a free advertising slot on this site, but does not receive preferential editorial treatment. SnugBaby products are only ever reviewed indepently.
